Magnet Academy for Cultural Arts is accepting applications for the 2022-2023 school year in the art areas of creative writing, dance, instrumental music, theatre, visual arts, and vocal music. Students who are entering grades 7-12 and are zoned for a St. Landry Parish school are eligible to apply. Click the headline link to apply.

Courses are online or hybrid and will require an internet connection and a computer (laptop/Chromebook/desktop). The application is open to all 8th - 12th-grade students currently enrolled in St. Landry Parish public schools. *Program is contingent on the number of applicants.

Magnet Academy of Biomedical Sciences is now taking applications. Applicants must be in the 8th or 9th grade. Please have the following documents available to upload with your application:
(1) two letters of recommendation from a STEM teacher and administrator/counselor/JAG specialist (recommendation form attached)
(2) most recent report card and any test scores you think will strengthen your application
