Magnet Academy for Cultural Arts is accepting applications for the 2022-2023 school year in the art areas of creative writing, dance, instrumental music, theatre, visual arts, and vocal music. Students who are entering grades 7-12 and are zoned for a St. Landry Parish school are eligible to apply.

If you suspect your child of having Talented characteristics in MUSIC, THEATRE AND/OR VISUAL ART contact your child’s school for a referral to the School Building Level Committee. Talented referrals and evaluations are only conducted once a year in the Spring.

Volleyball continues breaking records...
For the 3rd season in a row, Volleyball has broken the school record for wins in a season. The Lady Gators finish the regular season with a 25-6 record, breaking last year record for wins. The Lady Gators also won the District and Parish titles again. Playoff brackets will be annonced later today.

BCHS FCCLA Club held their first meeting and it was a huge success! The officers did a great job leading the meeting and lots of information was presented. The members are looking forward to traveling to the Southern Region Meeting in January.
