Message From SLPSB 1/24/24: We will be closely monitoring the weather forecasts for this evening, overnight, and into the morning. Decisions regarding closures for tomorrow, January 25, will be deferred until the morning. We understand the significant impact of these late decisions on our families; nevertheless, we believe morning assessments will provide a better understanding of travel conditions. These decisions are difficult to make due to the unpredictable nature of the weather. We acknowledge the desire for an evening decision. However, we must strike a balance where the safety of all stakeholders is prioritized while ensuring uninterrupted learning opportunities for our students. We will do our best to inform stakeholders near the 5 a.m. hour. We apologize for the inconvenience to our families and appreciate your understanding.
