Hey, Facebook friends, Happy Juneteenth! Today marks the day when slavery was finally abolished in the United States. It's a day of celebration, reflection and remembrance. It's important to teach our young children the importance of diversity, inclusivity and the significance of this day in our history. Let's celebrate together by spreading love, kindness and acceptance for all. Enjoy the day, everyone! #Juneteenth #DiversityandInclusion #UnityLoveKindness

Today is School Nurse Day, a day dedicated to honoring and recognizing the contributions of school nurses in providing quality healthcare to students in schools.
School nurses are crucial in promoting the health and well-being of students, staff, and their families. They provide various services, including health screenings, first aid, medication administration, and health education. They also serve as a liaison between the school, families, and healthcare providers to ensure students receive the appropriate care they need to thrive academically and physically.
On School Nurse Day, schools and communities are encouraged to show their appreciation for our school nurses. #SchoolNursesRock

Central Middle School: This week we celebrate Staff Appreciation. We would be extremely grateful to any parent/business that would like to contribute by bringing goodies for the lounge (sweets, bottles of soda/water, chips, boudin, sandwich or fruit trays), anything. If you'd prefer to give in another way, the gift of time is just as special. Come by and volunteer for a while. We'd be glad to see you.
We are also encouraging the students to make a card or write a letter to their favorite teacher(s)/staff member.
Thank you in advance and have a wonderful week!
