CMS PBIS Jean Day 1/31/25: students may wear jeans and CMS spirit shirt. $1 for jeans with the 2024-2025 spirit shirt OR $2 for jeans and a school appropriate shirt! All proceeds will go to PBIS! Jeans can not have any tears, rips, or holes.

The Eunice Police Department presents the CMS 5th grade DARE graduation on Monday, February 3, 2025 at 9am in the new activity center! Students must wear their DARE shirt with uniform bottoms for the ceremony. Only 2 (two) guests per student. Guests must have ticket for entry.
Central Middle School is celebrating our incredible students being 100 days BRIGHTER on Monday, February 3, 2025! Students may wear neon colored t-shirts with uniform bottoms. Students who are participating in the 5th grade DARE graduation will be allowed to change their shirt for the DARE ceremony.

CMS: This afternoon/evening's weather forecast notes rainy and cold conditions. For the safety and security of our students, we will NOT have 21st CCLC after-school program today. Thanks.
CMS after-school program resumes today, January 7th. As a reminder, we do not have bus transportation, and you will need to pick up your child by 5:15 PM.
The peak of the cold and flu season is upon us and the Louisiana has been experiencing a noticeable increase in illness. The state and SLPSB have seen many cases of colds, flu, strep throat, COVID-19, and the stomach flu. The school staff will continue to wipe desks and high touch area in the schools. The district is asking the parents to assist in decreasing the spread of these viruses in the school community. To prevent widespread flu in the school, we recommend that your child stay home from school if he/she experiences flu or cold symptoms.
**If your child is diagnosed with influenza by a physician, please call me your child’s school to report the diagnosis.
