Subject: Get Ready to Connect: Our New Parent-Teacher Communication App!
Dear Creswell Middle School Families,
We are excited to roll out our new, streamlined communication tool that will allow you to message directly with your child’s teachers. This new feature, called Rooms, is available right inside our district’s app, the SLP App.
This will be our primary tool for parent-teacher communication this year, replacing previous methods. To make sure you’re ready, please follow the steps below.
How to Get Connected:
Download the App: Your single point for communication is the SLP App. If you haven't already, please download it from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store by searching for "St. Landry Parish Schools" or using the download links provided below:
Sign Up (Only If You Haven't Already):
Open the SLP App and tap on the Rooms icon.
Follow the prompts to create your account and connect with your student(s).
Important: If you already signed up at the end of last school year or over the summer, you do not need to do it again. You are all set!
Troubleshooting & Support:
"I'm signed in, but I don't see my student."
If your student is not connected to your account after you sign in, please use the messaging feature within Rooms to let us know, and we will resolve it."I'm having trouble creating my account or signing in."

Please note that student schedules will not be available in the app until after your child’s school has released rosters at open house or orientation/registration.
