School Lunch Hero Day is an annual celebration in the United States that honors the hardworking school nutrition professionals who serve healthy meals to students every day. It is typically celebrated on the first Friday in May, which falls on May 5th, 2023.
The day was created by the School Nutrition Association (SNA) to recognize the important role that school nutrition professionals play in promoting child nutrition, wellness, and academic achievement. It is a way to show appreciation for the individuals who work behind the scenes to ensure that students receive nutritious meals that fuel their bodies and minds.

A HUGE THANK YOU to all students, staff, and parents for a successful 2 weeks of LEAP testing!! 3rd and 4th graders can begin bringing their book sacks back to school tomorrow.
